Hello, I am Silvia Takashina.
I am originally from Londrina, Paraná, and hold a degree in Electrical Engineering from the State University of Londrina. I currently live in Indaiatuba, São Paulo.
I built my professional career over 14 years at Toyota do Brasil, working in various areas such as internal logistics, production, productivity, quality control, supplier quality, and product and pricing planning. This experience gave me a broad perspective on operations and the challenges involved in quality, efficiency, cost reduction, and continuous improvement.
During my time at Toyota, I participated in projects involving process improvement, layout changes, cost reduction, and quality problem-solving in collaboration with internal departments and suppliers. In 2013, I had the opportunity to participate in a Vehicle Confirmation (CV) event at the Motomachi plant in Japan. Later, at the Porto Feliz plant, I was involved in the transfer of machining lines from São Bernardo do Campo, overseeing the quality ramp-up process.
I also had the opportunity to work on product planning for the Toyota Hiace, broadening my perspective to include aspects related to the product, the market, and business planning.
I believe my experience across different areas allows me to view challenges from a systemic perspective, seeking to understand the process, identify opportunities, and develop practical, sustainable solutions in collaboration with the people involved.
Outside of work, I enjoy physical activities, cycling around the Indaiatuba region, and traveling to discover new places, cultures, and people.
